Marblehead is a peninsula and an island on Massachusetts Bay and is located between Boston and Gloucester with a rich history that dates back to pre-Revolutionary War times and has survived over 350 years. The oil painting is a rendition of an Ulrike Welsch photograph, an international photographer who has lived in Marblehead since 1966.   The signature frame is of solid Honduras Mahogany.
